The Cho Pat Patella (knee Cap) Stabilizer allows for full mobility of the knee joint while improving lateral and medial support for weak and arthritic knees. The kneecap stabilizer improves patellar tracking resulting in less knee degeneration, inflammation, and pain.
Used for:
· Some forms of arthritis
· Overuse syndrome
· Relief of acute and chroic pain associated with patellar tendonitis and off-tracking
Total Kneecap Support
· Applies pressure above, below, and on each side of the kneecap
· Extra strong straps apply enhanced pressure while allowing mobility
· No slip Velco® brand ensures kneecap stabilizer will not loosen
Enhanced Fit and Comfort
· Left and right sized versions for maximum comfort and performance
· Open kneecap for added ventilation
The Cho-Pat Patellar Stabilizer is constructed in the USA from comfortable fabric-covered neoprene and provides effective relief from acute and chronic pain associated with patellar tendonitis, arthritis, and overuse syndromes. The kneecap stabilizer functions dynamically because it applies constant pressure to the knee joint. The patellar stabilizer has four enclosed firm plastic tubes that act as buttresses around the kneecap to reduce patellar subluxation and degeneration.
People can experience knee pain for a number of reasons including: patellar tendonitis, arthritis, overuse, jumper’s knee, runner’s knee, and weak knees. Patellar tendonitis affects the tendon that connects the shinbone to the kneecap. Patellar tendonitis symptoms begin with pain located in the section of the patellar tendon between the kneecap and the area where the tendon attaches to the shinbone (tibia). It is a painful condition often caused by overuse or poor mechanics that can make it difficult to participate in daily and athletic activities and can be helped significantly by a kneecap stabilizer.
